The Altar Guild's mission is to prepare the sanctuary for worship each Sunday. They select banners, prepare the altar for other special events or services, such as confirmation, baptisms, Advent, Christmas, and Easter. On communion Sundays, they prepare the special vessels used for the elements. They, then, clean and store them. They also take care of ordering altar flowers.

The Altar Guild embodies Christian volunteerism that is so crucial to the survival of our church. A church is its members. We should have a vested interest in our church and its mission. Altar Guild members serve behind the scenes and truly give of themselves.
